Why Use Navigate-U?
We are a diverse group of dedicated individuals who are committed to person-centered, strength-based approaches to managing impacts across the lifespan. Each of us have lived and professional experience navigating life in systems that were not readily accessible.
The Navigate-U Network was imagined and created by Amy Rutherford-Moody, LPC-MHSP. As she was helping develop a program to assist autistic students in college, she realized the need was much broader. Navigate-U exists to support people of all neurotypes through the lifespan.
We started as a group of higher education practitioners learning best practices while supporting neurodiverse college students as they earned a degree. While developing trust and a respectful working relationship with each individual, we learned invaluable lessons to share.
Our network consists of professionals who have worked for decades in the field of neurodiversity.
