Navigate-U Coaching Packages

Academic coaching for neurodiverse college students is focused on helping students develop the skills to manage their time, stay organized, and achieve academic and social goals during college. This coaching package teaches strategies for:

• Improving planning and prioritization,

• Enhancing task initiation and completion,

• Managing stress and anxiety, and

• Developing the skills and confidence to engage socially.

Each coaching session is focused on the individual needs of the students at the time. We can help students develop time management systems, problem-solve issues with roommates, clarify course requirements, and connect with on-campus resources. Effective communication strategies are modeled and practiced. Grades are checked frequently with the student to help monitor academic progress and provide accountability. Coaches work one-on-one to strengthen areas of concern while enhancing opportunities for success.

Pricing: One-on-One Coaching sessions for 17 weeks - $3000

*Coaching sessions are limited to 1 hour each.

**Payment is due in two installments: When service begins and again at the 8-week mark.

Neurodiverse students often have unique support needs which are often not provided in college. Our staff share a deep understanding of autistic students’ strengths and challenges and can guide you in selecting schools that will meet your needs. The right environment can expedite a successful college experience. We will match your autistic student with an appropriate college setting by:

• Reviewing your student’s documentation and interests,

• Supporting students and families throughout the application and admission processes,

• Assessing services and accommodations needed by the student and determining the college’s fitness to provide these services, and

• Suggesting appropriate colleges and/or support programs.

Pricing: 1 session - $250, 3 sessions - $650

Are you currently a college student and struggling? We offer a smaller package for students who need help with that final push of the semester. We can help close the gaps that make you less productive and finish the semester at your best! This package includes two sessions to:

• Help students investigate last-minute needs,

• Assist with planning and prioritization, and

• Offer some quick tips to maximize your time and productivity.

Pricing: 2 sessions - $500

Neurodiverse adults often face many challenges while seeking and maintaining employment. Additionally, the transition to the workplace can generate a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty. Our professionals can help identify and address some of these concerns while strengthening the soft skills needed to navigate a job. We offer one or three coaching sessions. The first session includes:

• Understanding a student’s education, skills, and strengths, challenges, and concerns.

• Examining previous work and volunteer experiences.

• Covering job search activities to date, barriers faced, and job search resources utilized.

• Discussing employment goals and disclosure decisions.

• Creating an action plan with motivational tips and resources.

If you invest in three coaching sessions, these will cover additional strategies on:

• Organizing your job search.

• Marketing yourself - including strengthening your resume and creating online presence.

• Communicating and job search correspondence - including cover letters and following up.

  • Dialogue around personal presentation, basic interview skills, and selling yourself.

  • How to present yourself effectively in phone interviews.

• Developing an employment search plan - including networking and job search activities.

• Behavioral-based interview training.

• Developing personal stories related to teamwork, motivation, leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication.

Prepare to do some homework between sessions, including: Editing your resume and cover letter, identifying and applying to job opportunities, and practicing interview questions.
